Hello, my name is Jack Smith, yes really, and no my mum and dad are not Jane and John Doe – ha-de-hah.
I’m a graduate journalism student at RMIT in Melbourne, I moved here after completing my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at Murdoch University in Perth last year.
I’m a dual-citizen Australian, born in England and I have lived between the UK and Australia over the past few years, I’m what they call a “ping-pong pom”.
I had completed two-thirds of a Bachelor of Science in Biology before switching to journalism and have always had a strong interest in the sciences.
My main goal as a writer (for the moment) is to bridge the gap between science and communication and to focus on, no trophies for guessing this one, science communication.
